BJP President Nitin Nabin to Lead ‘Save Democracy’ March During Gorakhpur Visit
BJP President Nitin Nabin will lead the 'Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy' march in Gorakhpur on November 4. His two-day visit will also include key organisational meetings and discussions on the party's Uttar Pradesh election strategy.
According to a party statement, Nitin Nabin will reach Gorakhpur at 12 noon on Wednesday and lead the march. The procession will begin at Maharana Pratap Inter College and conclude at Kali Temple, located near the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign is being launched at a time when the BJP and opposition parties are engaged in a confrontation over allegations of electoral malpractice. On Sunday, the INDIA bloc organised a mega rally demanding the BJP's removal from power over allegations of vote theft. Opposition parties have consistently raised allegations of electoral irregularities and demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
After leading the march, Nitin Nabin is scheduled to hold meetings with party leaders and elected representatives. His visit assumes significance as Uttar Pradesh is scheduled to hold Assembly elections next year, with the BJP intensifying its organisational activities ahead of the polls.
During the two-day visit, Nabin will also hold meetings with the state BJP president and other state office-bearers. Discussions will focus on outlining the party's upcoming campaigns and formulating its electoral strategy ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.
The visit is expected to be an important part of the BJP's organisational preparations, with the party focusing on strengthening its activities and coordinating its leadership ahead of next year's crucial state elections.
